The WakeUp Cafe
Helping you to wake up to new possibilities!
Food for thought...something for the Soul...
Hi, and welcome to The WakeUp Cafe, a new resource for your Mind, Body and Spirit! I've started up this online cafe because I wish there was a real cafe in my home town where people could meet up to chat about spiritual growth, personal development, and how to live, and love, more consciously. This is a place for getting together and sharing our knowledge and experiences, our different paths and to explore the directions we're interested in.
This new online Cafe will be a mind/body/spirit resource with a focus on relationships, emotional life skills, self-empowerment, new choices and new directions, and for exploring your spiritual path. The WakeUp Cafe will be not only a meeting place for like-minded people, but also a source of useful information for everyone who 'comes in'. You can browse at your leisure, exchange ideas and hopefully be helped and inspired by what you find here. There will be a 'reading room' and discussion board, where people - including me! - can share knowledge and experience. There will be a newsletter, articles and links to other sites and I also hope to develop an online forum.
So pay a visit to the Cafe, have a coffee (I know it's online but it adds to the atmosphere - although you can of course bring your own!) and just browse at your leisure.
Please e-mail me at ruth@thewakeupcafe.com if you'd like to recommend a particular website, and I'll add it to the Reading Room.
Also, if you have a website and would like to add it to The WakeUp Cafe's listing, perhaps we could arrange to have reciprocal links? I would appreciate this very much as I'd like to make as many people aware that the Cafe is here! If you're interested in doing this, I'd love to hear from you.
In preparation for the 1st issue of the newsletter, I would like to invite you to advise me on what you would like to see there. Are there any topics you would like to learn more about, any questions you would like to ask, any books or websites you would recommend?
